With the postponement of Phase 4 COVID 19 restrictions, the host club (RCYC) will reluctantly not be in a position to host all sailors in the proposed format of 3 fleets.
In order to ensure that we can hold a safe event, this year’s Laser Nationals will be split into two events:
- Standard and Radial Nationals hosted by the RCYC
- Laser 4.7 Nationals hosted by Monkstown Bay Sailing Club (MBSC)
Radials and Standards will be based in Crosshaven, while 4.7s will be based in Ringaskiddy, where a new slip will give easy access to the lower harbour.
Further details will be available in the next few days.
We would like to thank both Clubs for their help and willingness to run safe events for all sailors.
We will monitor ongoing COVID 19 developments and will communicate any updates via our website.
